Deposit & Spending Limits
ba89 encourages all players to set a personal deposit limit before they begin playing. A deposit limit is the single most effective tool for preventing overspending and ensuring that gambling stays within your budget. Deposit limits on the ba89 platform work as follows:

There is no minimum or maximum value for a player-set deposit limit — you may set a limit of ৳500 per day or ৳50,000 per month, depending on what is right for your personal financial circumstances. ba89 recommends setting a limit that reflects your discretionary entertainment budget — the amount you can genuinely afford to lose without affecting your essential expenses.
How Limit Changes Work
ba89 applies an asymmetric rule for limit changes specifically designed to protect players:
- Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately. If you reduce your daily deposit limit from ৳5,000 to ৳1,000, the new lower limit applies right away.
- Increasing a limit is subject to a mandatory 48-hour cooling-off period. The increase does not take effect until 48 hours after you submit the request. This delay gives you time to reconsider and reverse the decision if it was made impulsively.
This asymmetry is intentional: protective measures are always instant, while increases that could lead to more spending are deliberately slowed down. ba89 will not override this cooling-off period under any circumstances, including at direct player request.
Loss Limits & Wager Limits
In addition to deposit limits, ba89 also offers loss limits (capping the net amount you can lose in a period) and wager limits (capping the stake per individual bet).
